Word of the Week … Justification
Many people wonder whether their actions are justified. It’s a legal term actually and faith in Christ brings full justification. It can be understood, partially at least, by saying it’s “just-as-if-I’d never sinned”. That’s a really helpful way to remember what it means. Want to know more? … Justification More still? about 7 months ago - No comments
What is atonement? What did the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ actually achieve? And how? How can a God of love use such a violent method for salvation? Isn’t a God who treats his own Son this way nothing more than a cosmic child abuser? This week’s Word of the Week is Atonement… This [...]
Word of the Week … Church

What is church? Is it even right to ask, “what is church?” Should it be, “who is church?” Going to church – does this explain what church is? Is church about the building we go to? It must have been exciting being at the start of a new thing. The church in Acts 2 was [...]
