Rach’s Baptism
Rach Kophamel’s baptism today. It’s going to be a fantastic occasion. Make sure you’re there!!!

Baptism is an outward symbol of something inward. The person being baptised, the ‘Baptisand’, is making a public testimony by figuratively saying, ‘I give my life to God and want to live his way’. The immersion under water does have something to do with washing, but its strongest meaning has to do with the grave. When the baptisand goes under the water they are symbolically putting their old selfish life into the grave. When they come up again they are symbolically rising from the grave as a testimony to their new life in Christ.
Fantastic baptism today! Great to see loads of Rach’s friends. Great song choices and brilliant testimony by Rach. Food was ace too!! Well done Rach!!!!
